Healthy Families America ® (HFA): HFA is PCA America's signature prevention program and is a national initiative to support parents in over 430 communities in providing a healthy start for their children from the prenatal period to the early years of life. The national and two regional offices provide intensive and individualized technical support as programs grow and adapt to meet the changing needs of the families in their communities. For more information about HFA, please visit the website at www.healthyfamiliesamerica.org.

National Center on Child Abuse Prevention Research: Established in 1986, the National Center on Child Abuse Prevention Research enhances the link between research and practice by developing and evaluating prevention strategies, and by disseminating information about child abuse maltreatment and its prevention cross the country. Research reports, surveys, and fact sheets are available on this web site.

Chapter Network: Our network of nearly 40 state chapters in 39 states and the District of Columbia are critical to our prevention mission. While united in their shared dedication to the prevention of child abuse and neglect, our chapters are unique in the programs and services they offer. Advocacy: Prevent Child Abuse America advocates for policies at the national, state and local levels that protect children and strengthen families. As part of this effort, we provide assistance to our state chapters and Healthy Families America® networks in accessing funds for prevention programs. More information about our advocacy work is available on this web site.

Prevention Education: In the course of 30 years, Prevent Child Abuse America has played a major role in increasing public awareness of child abuse and neglect, and educating the public on prevention.

Resource Development: To make it possible for us to pursue our mission to prevent child abuse and neglect, we seek - and deeply appreciate - the support of individuals, foundations and corporations from all over the country. More information is available.
